RIOX CO2 Mask provides tissue reparation, matrix formation, blood vessel growth, anti-bacterial effect, promotes growth factor communication. As a result, cells are regenerated, waste product is removed, collagen is stimulated, bacterias are killed.

Carboxy gel is a natural way of excreting waste matter from the skin and providing nutrients and oxygen to feed, nourish regenerate and balance. By increasing the Co2 concentration within the skin, it naturally leads to a decrease in pH which will result in the release of oxygen.

The Riox carboxy therapy facial improves skin oxygenation immediately following treatment, which in effect results in an artificial Bohr effect.  The chemical reaction that takes place effectively helps to remove unwanted toxins from the skin whilst at the same time increasing skin nutrition. The active ingredients will improve skin elasticity, strengthening skin pores, resulting in a reduction of size over a course of treatments. Expression lines will be reduced, the skin will feel firmer and look more radiant as skin tone is balanced.

RIOX contains 5 treatments per box, and includes:

• 5 x pre-cut facial mask sheets
• 5 x rectangular neck sheets
• 5 x syringes containing carboxy gel

The carboxy gel is applied evenly over the face and neck. The face and neck mask are then placed on top of the gel. The mask is tapped gently to generate Co2. The Co2 penetrates the blood vessels, which in turn release oxygen via haemoglobin. The gel will bubble on the skin whilst the mask is applied for 20-30 minutes.

Riox Co2 Carboxy Therapy Mask is extremely good at treating oily acne skin as carbon dioxide can lower the pH which can inhibit the growth of bacteria.
